Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

A Breast Lift or Mastopexy can help women whose breasts have lost their youthful shape because of age, gravity, pregnancy or nursing. This procedure brings life to sagging breasts by raising them and restoring firmness. Some patients choose to increase the size of their breasts at the same time by adding breast implants to the procedure. If necessary, a Mastopexy can also reduce the size of the areola (the darker skin surrounding the nipple).

The procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia. Most patients are able to return to work within one to two weeks.
