Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)This popular procedure can beautify and balance the nose on the face by reducing or increasing the size, changing the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrowing the span of the nostrils, or changing the angle between the nose and upper lip. The goal should always be to create a natural and less "surgical" result. Rhinoplasty may also correct a birth defect or injury or help relieve some breathing problems. The procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia. Most patients are able to return to work within one to two weeks. |
